Our Programs
CULTURE (Ujuzi)
Experience Africa with our NGOMA TROUPE performing group through cultural events such as stage performances, holidays celebrations (Christmas, Kwanzaa, Black History Month, and Juneteenth), our annual African Heritage Festival, and other special occasions (school assemblies, corporations, churches, graduations, weddings).
EDUCATION (Jifunza)
Learn about African culture through storytelling, history, music, arts & crafts, poetry, cuisine, and languages spoken in Africa such as French, Kinyarwanda, Zulu, Lingala, and Swahili.
We offer educational classes and workshops.
COMMUNITY (Ujima)
Empower our community by offering resources for cultural integration, youth mentorship, financial literacy, health promotion, and economic development such as creating partnership opportunities between African entrepreneurs and Utah businesses.
COMMUNICATE (Tuseme)
Communicate through Ubuntu Series which are monthly community conversations on diversity, equity, and inclusion with a purpose to heal and unite ourselves, our communities, our nations, and the world.
